For many years I worked in international business as managing director of a well-known manufacturing company in the healthcare sector and have

traveled to different countries for work and got to know foreign cultures and people.

Thanks to my experiences abroad, I worked and lived for this company in the USA for several years. I worked for this company worldwide for many years.

All of these impressions and experiences have shaped and enriched my life.

A few years ago I decided to give something back and to change my career. My interest focused on working in social services/caring for seniors in senior care facilities, intensive care facilities and nursing stations as part of my current job focused privately at home with seniors.

Thanks to my recognized and qualifying further training, I have specialized in dementia, seniors and social care.

We are all getting older, the only question is “how”?

That's why I wanted to know what it feels like to spend your life in a retirement home or at home when you're old.

What awaits a person in old age?

Since I got these impressions, it has been a matter close to my heart to support seniors with their problems in everyday life.

My experiences, training and further education in the area of work with seniors/social services have led me to become even more involved.

That's why I and my team want to help these people grow old with joy in life and also relieve the burden on their relatives.

I have been familiar with working in the area of senior care/social services since 2014.

It is a matter close to my heart to take care of our seniors and support them with their everyday problems.

This creates close bonds between the seniors and me and helps maintain the quality of life.

The 4 main pillars of my work consist of:

- Empathy

- Respect

- Patience

- Understanding dementia

Not reducing people to their medical problems, but rather accepting their wishes and feelings and sometimes, if necessary, diving into their own world are essential for me.
